Horsepower Meets Highland Hospitality at Coul House Hotel

Coul House Hotel was humming with excitement recently as we welcomed some truly head-turning guests – old and new – from the world of luxury motoring.

This month, we had the pleasure of hosting a visit from the McLaren Owners Club, which brought a spectacular display of supercars to our quiet corner of the Highlands. With their sleek lines, roaring engines, and unmistakable presence, the McLarens made quite the entrance—and certainly drew a few admiring glances from guests and passers-by alike!

Alongside these high-performance machines, we were delighted to welcome back some much-loved old friends – the ever-charming Morgan owners, who returned to Coul House for another week-long stay filled with scenic drives, delicious dinners, and the relaxed, homely hospitality they’ve come to know and love.

From vintage elegance to modern engineering marvels, the juxtaposition of classic Morgans and cutting-edge McLarens made for a truly unforgettable few days at Coul. There’s something magical about seeing these incredible vehicles lined up against the backdrop of our historic house and sweeping Highland scenery.

It’s always a joy for us to host groups like these—whether it’s their first visit or their fifteenth—and to provide a cosy, characterful base for exploring the beauty of the North of Scotland.
