Lunch times: 12 noon – 2.15pm

Experience an unforgettable dinner at Coul House Hotel, where gourmet cuisine is elevated by the use of the finest local ingredients. Dine in a charming, elegant setting, with each dish a testament to our commitment to quality and taste.

Alongside our seasonal set menu, you’re also welcome to choose from our à la carte menu, offering a refined selection of dishes to suit every taste.

Festive Afternoon Tea

Celebrate the season in style with our Festive Afternoon Tea, available from 1st December 2025 through to 29th December 2025. Delight in a selection of seasonal treats, from festive-themed sandwiches to freshly baked scones and indulgent sweets, all served with your choice of tea or coffee.

It’s the perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit or to simply relax and unwind.

Served daily from 2:30pm to 4:30pm, our Festive Afternoon Tea offers the ideal escape from the holiday hustle.

Opening hours for Christmas

As we embrace the magic of the season, Coul House Hotel will take a short festive pause to allow our team a well-earned break. We will close after breakfast at 10am on Sunday, 21st December, and reopen to guests from 3pm on Saturday, 27th December 2025.

Please note: the hotel will be closed to non-residents from 3pm on 30th December as we welcome our in-house guests for our special three-day Hogmanay package. We’ll be back to normal from Friday, 2nd January.

We look forward to welcoming you back to continue the celebrations in our warm, festive surroundings.

Our annual 3-Day Hogmanay Celebration Package is a fabulous way to bring in the New Year. Stay three nights or more in our traditional country house hotel enjoying everything Coul House has to offer – lush afternoon teas, gourmet dinners, fantastic range of wines, single malts and Highland gins, champagne reception and of course a traditional Scottish ceilidh, Highland dancers, and a bagpiper to bring in the bells. Oh, and did we mention clarsach player, log fires, forest walks, congenial company and service that is second to none?

Chef Garry Kenley and his trusty team work diligently each year to prepare for your visit and will create some great menus to seduce your palate.

If you have any special dietary requirements or requests, please feel free to let us know, as our chefs are very accommodating.

Chris, Lara, Susannah, and I will be your hosts along with the rest of our front of house team that you will meet during your stay.
