We love to hear from our guests, here’s a recent recommendation from a guest who stayed with us this weekend.

“Set in wonderful scenic surroundings this hotel offers dogs with human companions a place to chill. The North East of Scotland is not known for its dog-friendly establishments and Coul House is therefore a welcome relief.

We stopped for lunch and were made most welcome. They had Cepe soup served with wonderful (and generous portion) of brown bread. The soup was devine. We then various sandwiches and all were excellent.

Coffee was served with homemade shortbread and tablet! Was a dessert in itself.

The staff were attentive and extremely friendly. The resident Yorkie was a wee bundle of joy. We’ve only come across 2 hotels this dog-friendly, Beck Hall in Malham and Coul House.

This is our third visit to Coul House and not our last.
