A Highland Wedding to Remember – John & Lisa at Coul House Hotel

On Friday the 13th of June, love and laughter lit up Coul House Hotel as John Urquhart and Lisa Schaetzle celebrated their wedding in true Scottish style. 💍💫

With around 80 guests — many travelling thousands of miles from Alberta, Canada — the day was a beautiful blend of Highland charm and international flair. Set against the backdrop of our stunning gardens and historic house, John and Lisa tied the knot surrounded by friends, family, and unforgettable views of the Strathpeffer hills.

The evening ceilidh had everyone on their feet — kilts flying, hearts full, and the dancefloor bouncing well into the wee hours. It was a joy to witness so many smiles, happy tears, and the warm spirit of celebration that makes Coul House weddings so magical.
